More than 260,000 people are expected to attend the race meet that will take place at Prestbury Park.
Racing starts at 1:30 pm with a 40-minute interval between every contest. The final race begins at 5:30 pm, leaving punters and race enthusiasts plenty of time to gather Cheltenham tips and pick winning horses. Some of the biggest races throughout the 4-day event are the Champion Hurdle, Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, and Queen Mother Champion Chase, just to name a few.
When it comes to horses running at the festival, many are looking forward to seeing Buveur D’Air defend his Champion Hurdle title. The same goes for Altior as he tries to retain his crown at the Queen Mother Champion Chase. 2018 Gold Cup winner Native River also hopes to become the first horse to defend his title.
