Trainer Fergal O’Brien has high hopes that his two horses, Jarveys Plate and Aye Aye Charlie, will win at this year’s Cheltenham Festival. O’Brien-trained Jarveys Plate claimed victory in a Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle trial on New Year’s Day, while the second-season novice, Aye Aye Charlie, finished sixth in the Cleeve Hurdle.

O’Brien said that the fast pace of the Ballymore would be suitable for Jarveys Plate rather than the Albert Bartlett race. He added that the people told him that his runner clocked a great time on its previous victory. The trainer also mentioned that they’re hoping Jarveys Plate will deliver the same performance on the next race at the .

On the other hand, O’Brien is looking forward to running Aye Aye Charlie for the Albert Bartlett. Considering that Aye Aye Charlie is a novice, the trainer said that the runner had a cracking run on its previous race but has been overlooked by many. Still, O’Brien and his team are hopeful that the second-season novice will run well on the upcoming race.
